Terms of Service

What this is

These terms govern your use of When? (when.direct), a social scheduling tool. By using When?, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

When? connects to your calendar through Cronofy to read free/busy data and show overlapping availability between group members. The service is free to use during this period and may change as we develop it further.

Your account and data

• You authorize When? to access your calendar's free/busy data through Cronofy when you connect your calendar.
• You are responsible for the scheduling links you create and share. Anyone with your link can join the group and see the group's overlapping availability.
• You can disconnect your calendar at any time through your calendar provider's settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use When? for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' data beyond what is shown through normal use of the service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, its servers, or connected networks.
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service.

Service availability

When? is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, When? and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes missed meetings, scheduling errors, or any loss resulting from service downtime. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (which, for a free service, is zero).

Termination

You can stop using When? at any time by disconnecting your calendar. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we need to for operational or legal reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if we do.

Privacy

Your use of When? is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
